What we collect — and don't
Greenscreencut is a green-screen (chroma key) remover that works entirely inside your web browser. When you load an image or video and click Process, the work happens locally on your device using JavaScript and the browser Canvas API.
- Your media files are never uploaded. Photos and videos you open are read from your device and processed in memory; they do not leave your computer and are not sent to any server.
- We do not require sign-up. There is no account, no login, and no profile to create.
- We use privacy-respecting analytics. This site loads Google Analytics 4 (a first-party script from Google) to understand aggregate usage such as page visits and which tool controls get used. Analytics runs only in the page; it never sees the image or video you open, because that processing happens locally on your device.
Third-party advertising
To keep the tool free, this site displays third-party advertisements served by an advertising network. Those advertisers and the network may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads, measure their performance, and — where permitted — personalize them based on your prior visits to this and other sites. This is governed by the advertising network's own privacy policy, not ours. The specific network we use is named below once it is activated.
We never share your media files with any advertiser, because the files never leave your device.
Your choices
You can opt out of Google Analytics at any time by installing Google's Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. For advertising cookies, you can manage or disable them through your browser settings, or through the advertising network's own opt-out page once it is active on this site.
